Zacaria, part of the international group Alf Mizzi & Sons, founded in Malta over 100 years ago, has been providing turnkey industrial buildings in Romania since 2009.

Zacaria, headquartered in Sibiu, owns and manages 3 industrial parks in Sibiu and Alba Iulia and continues to develop its industrial projects portfolio by purchasing land and warehouses in a wide range of locations throughout the country.

Zacaria offers fully serviced, standard or build-to-suit facilities for companies, regardless of their size and complexity. The industrial spaces are tailored to meet costumers’ requirements and are suitable for logistics, R&D, commercial or manufacturing purposes.

Lately, the company has focused on build-to-suit industrial projects that provide tailored solutions to meet each client’s needs, strategic locations and outstanding quality standards. On the Romanian market since 2005, Zacaria has made a name for itself as a constant investor and a capable manager of industrial spaces all over Romania.

2021

RESTRUCTURING ITS INDUSTRIAL PORTFOLIO & NEW INVESTMENTS

Zacaria restructures its industrial portfolio and sells 4 of its parks located in Sibiu, Craiova, Arad and Oradea. The capital infusion allows the developer to start new industrial projects in Sibiu and Pitesti and to invest in new lines of business.

2020

THE CRAIOVA PROJECT TURNS INTO A SUCCESS

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Zacaria manages to rent the entire industrial park in Craiova. Also, Network Industrial Park in Sibiu exceeds 90% occupancy rate. At the same time, the company consolidates its position on the commercial segment, by signing with two important players from the home & deco sector, Naturlich and Jysk, for the Imperial retail park in Sibiu. In addition, in 2020, Zacaria sells 2 of the oldest parks in Sibiu to a local company.

2019

EXPANDING THE CLIENT PORTFOLIO

2019 is marked by one of the biggest deals in the company’s history. More than 15,000 m2 were delivered to a new client in Southern Industrial Park.
Another 10,000 m2 are rented in Vantage, Alba Iulia, also by a new client.
Other existing clients from the company’s portfolio are expanding in Network, the industrial park reaching 80% occupancy by the end of the year.

2018

ZACARIA DELIVERS THE FIRST UNITS IN THE NEW PARKS

The company delivers over 14,000 sqm Class A industrial space in Network Industrial Park in Sibiu.
At the same time, Southern Industrial Park in Craiova becomes an attraction for investors. More than 22,000 sqm of industrial spaces are rented by the end of the year.
2018 is also the year in which the expansion of Western Industrial Park from Oradea is finalized, the 6,300 sqm being delivered to a foreign investor.

2017

WORKS ON THE NEW PROJECTS ARE ONGOING

The works on the newest parks from Sibiu and Craiova are on schedule. The first 10.000 sq m of industrial space from Southern will be finished by the end of 2017, while the first facility from Network, a 10.000 sq m space, will be delivered to a strategic client in 2018.

In Western Industrial Park from Oradea, works have begun for a new warehouse of more than 6300 sq m, already commissioned by a foreign investor.

2016

THE COMPANY CONTINUES TO INVEST IN SIBIU

With Zacaria Industrial Park nearly fully rented, the company continues to invest in Sibiu and purchases 46,200 sq m of land, for the future Network Industrial Park.

Hermann Logistics, with 18,000 sq m of rentable area in Cisnadie, Sibiu, becomes a part of Zacaria.

Imperial Industrial Park becomes a part of Zacaria and goes into rehabilitation to provide a 21.000 sq m of rentable area.

2015

ZACARIA EXPANDS

The company expands in Arad and purchases 10,000 sq m of logistical spaces, which are rented to the Canadian company Panduit.

Zacaria makes a new investment, Vantage Industrial Park. Thus, the amount of industrial spaces rises with 27,000 sq m, this time in Alba Iulia.

Zacaria turns its attention towards the south-western part of the country and purchases 33,000 sq m of industrial spaces in Craiova – Southern Industrial Park.

2014

ZACARIA INDUSTRIAL PARK FROM SIBIU EXPANDS

Zacaria Industrial Park from Sibiu expands with another 12,000 sq m, as part of Central Industrial Park.

2013

THE COMPANY EXPANDS ITS ACTIVITY WEST

The company expands its activity in the western region of Romania and purchases 17,000 sq m of industrial spaces in Oradea.

2011

ANOTHER 10,000 M2 OF INDUSTRIAL SPACES

Another 10,000 sq m of industrial spaces and offices enters the company’s portfolio, under the name United Industrial Park, in Sibiu.

2009

THE COMPANY BEGINS INVESTING IN INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE

The company begins investing in industrial real estate and purchases a warehouse of 20,000 sq m in Sibiu, creating this way, General Industrial Park.

2005

ZACARIA BEGINS ITS ACTIVITY

Zacaria begins its activity in Romania, as part of the multinational group Alf Mizi & Sons.
