Pall-Ex officially opened its newest hub within the Network Industrial Park in Sibiu

The leader of palletised freight distribution market, Pall-Ex, officially opened a new hub in Sibiu, a few days ago, within Network Industrial Park, a project developed by Zacaria.

Thanks to the new cross-docking terminal, which covers an area of 5,800 sqm, plus 1,200 sqm under the canopy, 24 trucks can be loaded and unloaded at the same time. Thus, the transshipment capacity will reach 3,500 pallets per day. When Pall-Ex and Delamode first became customers of Zacaria in 2011, the capacity was of only 180 pallets.

“After eight years in a hub that has served us so far, we have moved to our new home. (…) The hub was built by Zacaria at our request, according to our design and specifications. The lease was signed for a period of 7 years, we are talking about an investment of 7 million euros,” said Danor Ionescu, CEO of Pall-Ex.
